Trans Limpopo Mineral Resources

Trans Limpopo Mineral Resources Pty Ltd is a specialist mining services company

Our core business is to provide mineral target identification mapping, geophysical survey services, mineral resource modelling and financial evaluation to the resources industry.

TLMR also holds a majority equity interest in several prospecting rights in South Africa and Mozambique as it steadily moves into the SADC region. These include coal, manganese, diamond, chrome and PGM rights and are in various stages of exploration. While some are being mapped, we have already completed geophysical surveys or drilling on others with a view to determining resources estimates.

TLMR’s diamond prospects in the North West and Free State Provinces are well located and the indicative mapping and sampling in the North West has already yielded diamond discoveries. TLMR have been active in Mozambique for several years and are currently mapping several areas of interest. In addition, TLMR have a majority interest in a diamond mining prospecting license where substantial work has been done with a view to establishing a mining operation.

TLMR’s PGM, titanium, chrome, iron ore and cobalt prospecting interests are located in the Mpumalanga Province. We own a majority interest in a Joint Venture company and the mineral mapping in these areas will be followed by drilling programmes throughout 2011.

Given TLMR’s relationship with Belton, we are capable of developing turnkey projects, from inception through to mining operation, including:

  • Mine Planning and Scheduling
  • Technical Services including Geophysical Surveys
  • Exploration and Mining Project Management
  • Contract Mining
  • Engineering Services including design and construction
  • Procurement services and sourcing of special items

This website highlights the services rendered by TLMR and provides a summary of our own projects. Although TLMR is an investor in its own right, it also has institutional relationships with several local and international investors who partner with us in developing our projects or enter into off-take agreements with us. TLMR also hold a 5% interest in Belton Group (Pty) Ltd. (Belton).

A combination of our remote sensing technology with scientific measurements has proven to be hugely beneficial since it saves valuable time and money on field research and random exploration.

It is accurate in locating areas of interest for specific mineral resources and it enables geologists to confirm the nature of the relevant geological anomalies.
